Cancellation Policy

2-Day Cancellation Policy Equine Massage Therapists, like large animal veterinarians, travel long distances between home and clients. It is not unusual to have a whole day blocked for a client that is a two or more hour drive one-way. It is also not unusual for a client to call when the therapist is almost there to cancel. This is extremely costly to the therapist. It leaves no time to schedule someone else nor does it give the therapist the ability to rearrange her schedule. This is not only unfair to the therapist, but is also unfair to other clients who may have been able to be scheduled. This is being explained so that you understand why there is a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. There will be no refunds for sessions cancelled in less than 48-hours. A cancellation history of three times will result in an evaluation of whether to continue the client/therapist relationship. Every horseperson understands that horses are creative, and no one can predict what mischief they will get up to. If extenuating circumstances arise, it is your responsibility to call Debra to discuss how to handle the situation as soon as possible, preferably before she has started on the journey to your farm or stable.
