Part One of the course consists of an 8-hour online segment each month, providing flexible access to theory and concepts. Part Two of the full certification is an in-person hands-on practicum where you'll apply your knowledge to real-life scenarios and refine your equine cupping techniques.
Upon successful completion of the course, you'll earn a recognized certification endorsed by the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM). This certification attests to your dedication and proficiency, opening doors to enhanced equine care. The course is accredited by NBCAAM and contributes to your professional growth with 6.5 hours of General Learning and 7.5 hours of Skills Learning.

About the Machine.
Introducing The Equine Cupping Machine (ECM), a revolutionary tool for enhancing equine well-being. Imported by authorized reseller Debra Redman, the ECM is a cutting-edge device manufactured in Austria. Unlike machines designed for human cupping, the ECM is purpose-built for equine and canine needs, specifically addressing challenges related to hair, dirt, sweat, and oil filtration.
Featuring a specially designed motor for minimal noise, the ECM ensures horses remain calm during therapy. Both the ECM and human cupping machines offer pressure control and pulse cycles, but the ECM's glass cups have finger-activated holes for added pressure manipulation. Notably, the ECM includes an external filter that keeps hair, dirt, sweat, and oil away from the motor, a feature absent in human cupping machines.

Before Registering, do you have...
Minimum 2 years of equine practice experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist for humans and/or a Certified Equine Massage Therapist, and proof of Equine Massage Liability Insurance and Commercial Liability Insurance.
NOTE: Safe equine cupping protocol requires intermediate level knowledge of anatomy, fascia, physiology, biomechanics, as well as equine body language and horse handling experience.
