Trigger

Trigger, a 20+ year old Quarter Horse residing at Trinity Horse Rescue in Acworth, Georgia, is blind in one eye and occasionally undergoes lunging and English riding exercises with volunteers, primarily guided by an experienced upper-level dressage rider. Trigger initially exhibited signs of discomfort, including biting at handlers. During a two-hour session, craniosacral techniques were applied to alleviate tension in his jaw, and trigger points along the bladder meridian were addressed using the Masterton Method. Trigger's body displayed noticeable tension, affecting his gait pattern. The session focused on areas like glutes, biceps femoris, semi-membranous, the SI joint, and sacrum, with cupping pressure released based on Trigger's responses. The session concluded with Trigger visibly relaxing and stretching, leaving everyone satisfied with the positive outcome.
